I know some wouldn't, but I'd love to get McTavish and Byram all in one off-season if possible. Would really be fun to grab a few young core players while also having some of our vets still, topped off with Wolf as our goalie in net, likely playing 60 games. I think we are more than capable of getting 45 wins.

That's not being fair. Insiders have pointed us in that direction that Buffalo thinks highly of those players. You cant just make up a McTavish deal with those assets.

I am not sure what the Ducks are even doing anymore. They are trying hard to compete with the Sharks but just don’t have the horses to finish dead last. Is now the time to try to end their 7 year tank job or do they try to lose for another couple years? If they actually think they can win now maybe they want some veterans, they certainly have the cap space.

It’s as if the Ducks didn’t care for their first attempt at a rebuild and are trying again before even reaching the prime of their players - Zegras, Drysdale and mow potentially McTavish out. Kind of strange.

Treliving and Connie still talking Kadri? Why is Treliving being so cheap to us and generous to others. Give us their next 1st and 2nd rounders with no conditions and we can take a couple expiring deals to help their cap.

Is Treliving trying to get both, Kadri and Ras?

I am just hoping what Royle said earlier comes to fruition, and we deal some of the vets. I would have a lot more faith in management if we picked a direction to go.

We have made some good moves under Conroy, but it seemed to be that a lot of the decisions were reactive rather than proactive. This draft coming up is supposed to be really good. I am hoping we have a chance at a generational player.

I have faith in him based on interviews though. I definitely trust Conroy more than previous GMs.
