Yesterday’s agent: We can sign for 8 years with Vancouver.

Today’s agent: We can sign for 7 years with Vancouver.

Boeser: less is more!

Not a good enough job by his agent in the tampering. Should have known the offers out there yesterday

He got more money over 7 years than Vancouver offered over 8 years previously.

Canucks were never doing 8. That was the issue. Hell, up until now the Canucks weren't willing to do more than 5.

They still need help at centre with no cap space, wouldn’t be surprised to see Hronek moved with willander coming

This is a great deal for Boeser. The Canucks are rudderless right now, but the AAV is excellent, and the term sets this up to be a potential steal as the cap continues to rise. If Vancouver chooses to change course, Boeser will be a highly movable asset.

I’m just having some fun.

Please post both contract offers for comparison.

I think all the Canucks can do is go for it while they have Hughes under contract and hope Pettersson can bounce back.

Very surprising that Boeser is re-signing though

Lol, Boeser is like the guy that can't get enough of his abusive girlfriend.

So Dhaliwal was saying the issue a few weeks ago the issue was term, as the Canucks were unwilling to go long. That could have changed since then I suppose and Brock decided to test the market. If so, Brock did a silly. If not then this is what it is.

Boeser isn’t the fastest skater and needs a big C to make room and setup plays. If they could only make a deal for Miller. All eggs on Petey making a comeback.

According to an insider on HFOil, Bowman was 100% confident that Boeser was signing with the Oilers, and the Canucks completely blindsided them. They moved Arvidsson this morning for this, and now they’ve lost Perry, Brown, Arvidsson and Kane with no replacements.

The organization assumption has been that Pettersson will bounce back. If it's not, then... wat?

I guess staples’ #hope approach for all players to sign league minimum “because panthers” didn’t work.

Vancouver playing chess while Oilers playing checkers?

Think Boeser could have gotten this $ and term elsewhere, must like living in Vancouver.
