This selection doesn't seem to be generating enough angst and anger.

I wonder who was the first winner of the Gaudreau award?

Swing for the fences but seems like he relies on his stoutness to be a factor over skill and speed. He’s gonna have to bulk up and work on his skating to be something. Ah well, it’s a feel good pick with him winning the inaugural Jonny gaudreau award.

3rd in USHL scoring for U-18 players, 7th-overall in ppg (1.16) for players with more than 5 games, higher than Ryabkin, McKinney, Mooney, or Benak. Highest ppg amongst U-18 players in the league.

Interesting pick. Seems like the thing he needs most is Danielle Fujita living rent-free in his head for a couple of years.

Trains with Coronato in the summer. Nice.

One more year in the USHL, then going to Quinnipiac in 2026.

He sounds super pumped to have been selected by the Flames. He apparently trains with Matt Coronato and is excited to possibly play with him one day. He said winning the Gaudreau award and getting to meet the Gaudreau's changed his life and getting drafted by the Flames knowing how important the Gaudreaus are to Calgary ties everything together for him.

Love that our core players , and guys whove worked particularly hard onnon elements of their game are helping shape these new future Wranglers and Flames

Matt Coronato has been nothing short of awesome . Our Alumni also settign good examples.

Now this is what an organization does to follow suit of a champion team ljke Florida

Servant leadership

This pick excites me; Flames have all the tools to help what he needs to work on the most but he has an awesome skill set from what I’ve seen and I love all the parallels from training with Coronato to winning the Gaudreau award. Rooting for him!

It's wild that he was ranked 16th on NHLe and wasn't much of a consideration for most people/teams. I like that we're looking more like Carolina because they always seem to get great value and have good players to trade as a surplus.
