In years past- they did a pre-draft show for 30 mins.

pre-draft shows started at 4:30pm on SN
first pick usually happens a few minutes after official start

Given that it took them about 20+ minutes to drop the puck during the finals after the scheduled time I'd say at least 30 minutes.
