Literally impossible to tell how this is gonna go now. Barcelona are the younger team and Inter looked gassed that whole second half, but that late equalizer is soul crushing....just more drama and not a boring ass 30 before penalties please.

Yeah....6-6 on Aggregate? Not exactly 'defensive clinic' going on here.

But Inter definitely do look to be running out of steam.

How has Sommer bounced around so much? Feels like every time he's in one of these matches he absolutely balls out.

I still don't know why Bayern gave up on him, and so quickly as well ... especially because Neuer was injured at the time and is, you know, waaaay past his prime.

It's gotta be because he isn't "great" with the ball at his feet. One of the best shot stoppers out there and I think he's man of the match

step 1: sell Onana to a joke of a club for 50m
step 2: sign Sommer as a replacement for peanuts
step 3: profit

Maybe the best tie ever, best since the Man City-Madrid one a few years ago when Madrid got two in added time to save it. That was a joy to watch.

Forgot the true first step which was "Buy Onana on a free transfer from Ajax"

Sommer didn't really bounce around much, either than Bayern deciding just to keep Neuer over him for some reason.

Inter Milan does this every couple years it feels like, where they have a bit of an out of nowhere run in the Champions League. Barella is a very underrated player that I'm surprised hasn't gotten more interest from England.

I'm still preferential to Liverpool/Real Madrid at Anfield. Watching Messi and Suarez's hearts break....thats gonna be a tough one to beat.

This was fun though.

Sommer made some absolute Worldies. That fingertip save in Extra Time? That was a thing of beauty. I'm very happy that Inter pulled it off.

Thuram gave that match everything.

I'm with you on those Real & Pool finals. Might have the heart break names different than you, but boy were 2018 and 2022 fun.

The Liverpool/Barca match at Anfield was also Epic.

Even Spurs/Ajax was nuts, but this one is definitely up there. Just...it was like two punch-drunk heavyweights trading haymakers, everyone was exhausted but they just had to keep going.

Every indication was that Inter were all but done but they kept on hauling themselves off the Mat and hitting back...that was really impressive. They just never quit.

The difference to me when you talk about the Liverpool comeback, the Roma comeback, Barca's comeback against PSG, even the Spurs comeback, is you usually have one or even two lopsided matches that produce a net result that is close. This was two terrific matches that produced a tremendous overall result, both games were fairly close throughout and they both had moments of individual brilliance. It does seem semi finals breed these though, all of the aforementioned comebacks except Roma were semis, so was that Man City-Madrid tie. And then the finals usually stink.

Istanbul begs to differ.
