Like Hitler at his maps moving imaginary armies (they had been wiped out and no longer existed) around and planning defences and attacks. Generals who were present didn’t speak up for fear they’d be fired — or worse.

There is certainly a dollar value on me selling my soul, I will admit, but with these people it's legitimately hard to tell.

Not sure any conspiracy. What would be the need for this order, unless you had intentions to possibly deploy troops on home soil. And has already said he wouldn't hesitate to act against naturalized citizens if they were 'very very very bad people'.

I'd put my money on most of the well regulated militia types supporting the authoritarian.
