Saw a couple recent redrafts that have Zaybe 3rd or 4th. Macklin and Demidov go ahead and then some combo of Zayne and Buium

I wonder if he plays tomorrow. It's a must win game, but flames playoff chances probably come down to game 82.
If they miss the playoffs after losing game 82 and Parekh doesn't play, that's the worst outcome right?
The game tomorrow is the easiest opponent and at home.

The Flames just had one of their best games of the season. I doubt Parekh plays tomorrow. If he doesn't play at all this season there is no worst case surrounding that.

If flames make the playoffs by winning game 82 and Parekh hasn't played yet, does he play in the playoffs?

I think so, but he'd have to in right from game one. I can't see them dressing him in the middle of a series, so it would have to be at the start. Also, if we happen to get out of the first round, I don't know if they'd dress him at all for the duration.

If the Flames manage to get in and get say 5 or 6 points in the next 3 ganes, I cant see coaches and Management messing with the lineup.

If the Flames were down 0-2 or 0-3 and had no offense, I could see them dressing him. Otherwise, there would have to be a bunch of injuries.
No one wants to overwhelm a kid and have him be the scapegoat. You put young players in positions where they can have success, and their confidence grows.

I kinda think any comparisons to makar were muted a lot more. Before makar existed in the NHL any comparison to Orr would get laughed out of the building, now everyone is the next Makar.

Zayne played against boys.
The step between NCAA and the NHL is much smaller than from the CHL.

And Buium had a chance to play against men in college. So the physical transition may not be as big of a deal
