If the Flames get 98 that means they beat the Wild. 5 points with 2 games and a head to head. Its a tall task but its in their hands

As that one poster said, a team has yet to get to 96 and not qualify.

It looks like that will be the case here again.

Flames need to go 6-1 and beat the Wild to get in.

Leaves them room to drop one against Vegas in their two games, which seems likely anyways.

Stars have the fourth goal called back on a coaches challenge. Dallas then chokes on the easiest empty net chance in history and Minnesota ties it up in the last thirty seconds with the goalie pulled. OT win.

Yeah, it seems like for the Flames, things don't break their way for more than a game or two at most.

The hope is snuffed out as quickly as it arose.
