lol. My inlaws had a 1,500sqft one bedroom place in there and i had to rent it out for them the final 3 years before they sold it.

Idiot old people wouldn't do a one time assessment and condo fees tripled making it unsellable. Too bad. it had the best view facing the armoury.

His leaked message to Conservative party supporters today was about fighting hard against "the radical woke Liberals for the future of our country". I kid you not. not a single mention of Trump in his messaging, not a single mention of protecting against tariffs.

His stance worked when everyone was rightfully fully pissed off at Trudeau-Singh and destructive policies, but all attention is on Trump / tariffs / annexation. He thinks the Trump effect will wear off.

His stupid direction will likely cost him the leadership and the CPC an extra 4 years just because they want to make this a fight against wokeness instead of a fight against the US, and don't want to lose that messaging.

PP and the CPC using terms like "woke" and "wokeness" is 100% a driver for me not voting for them.

You can’t compete with Carney when it comes to playing the fear card.

Carney has his reasons to have Canadians thinking it might be time to head under their beds, curl up in the fetal position and hug their well-worn Liberal plush toy.

Fear sells.

You keep people afraid, you remind them constantly of their reasons to be afraid.

You have Canadians believing they could become Americans sooner rather than later and only Carney can save them and they forget about the long Liberal record which is very real and mostly awfully ugly.

The movie in the heads of many Canadians is their own imagined apocalypse where we trade in our passports and become Americans, the 51st state.

The Conservatives who have chosen to knife Poilievre publicly, on or off the record, should present their playbook.

What exactly do they want Poilievre to say? Do they want him to be even more hawkish on Trump than Carney?

I would love just one single reporter to ask him what the definition of the word means. I don't think he even knows, he's just latched onto it like a lot of right wingers who basically use it as a form of grievance for anything they don't like.
