The Flames have a long way to go. This is how you get a top 5 pick even with top goaltending.
I think LA takes them out this year

Flames are not good but Oilers look brutal too. If only we had someone like Draisaitl

Looks like the Flames are going to need to run the table against the weaker teams they've got left to play, plus beat Minnesota in regulation, and hopefully take some points from Vegas as well.

Not impossible, but with Minnesota's remaining schedule not looking too daunting and the Blues rolling, it's gonna take better luck than they've had of late.

Blow it up off season. Poor defence and full of players who cannot score.

Looking forward to the off season house cleaning.

Season isn't over until math says it's impossible.

Oilers are the better team. Flames took a point. They were robbed of a point against Dallas. Why jump all over them? This is what Flames are right now. Inexperienced kids and journeymen.

Got a point. Now hope like hell the hockey gods owe us and they can sneak up on Minnesota.

Great you have $20 million in cap space. Find a game breaker. You will not draft him.

Flames have done infinitely better than I thought they would this year. But my god it’s painful watching them try to score goals.

In hindsight, they should have just stopped trying to win the game and made it ugly. Team did not answer for their captain getting rag-dolled and fed punches. DIdn't capitalize on the ensuing PP. Lost the game in the end. I don't see the playoffs happening now. Yeah, I am a bit bitter about it, but I do take a certain disgust at a 4th line rat jumping the Flames' captain (who is not a fighter) and doing that without any repercussions. If that was anyone on the Flames - even Huberdeau - doing that to McDavid, it would have been 5-10+Game, and potentially a suspension.

I really hope Huska makes presses the issue here in the post-game scrum. Refs were utter horse#### tonight.

Flames ALWAYS seem to go brain-dead when playing the Coilers. I think there were three odd-man rushes in the 3rd period alone where they simply....lost the puck somewhere. Terrible gameplay, awful passing and simply giving WAY too much credit to that bunch of pissant crap up north.

Maybe someday we'll have a coach and a captain who can prepare them properly for a game against the Grease.

Totally fed up with the pop-gun offense and the lack of whatever-the-hell it is when they play these guys.

Season is done. Draisaitl is the best player in the league. So good for him. Nobody could've predicted the Blues going on their run. Good for them. Flames will finish in 18th.

Kadri has been phenomenal this last stretch but his shot selection in OT was rough. 2 times he tried the tight angle shot and the second one cost us the second point.

But then again his play in the rest of the game probably got us to OT as well.

#### this sucks. Hate losing to the Oilers so much.

Might be curtains on the season, but at least it was fun. I know that the tank crowd will be fuming that we will be in the no man’s land (not too 10, and not playoffs), but at least our 2024 picks are shaping up to be decent so far. Have 2 picks in the first round so hopefully Conroy hits it out of the park with those two as well.

Rasmus has been a good flame but its time to trade him in the off season. Like Lindholm he is not someone you overpay for.

It was the Flames vs one player tonight and he killed them. Brutal.

Perry flipping out seemed to rally the Oilers. Thought the Flames kind of got pushed around, especially after that.

Frost cost them the game with the weak turnover but it wasn’t the first. Several of our guys got caught by backcheckers tonight which really shouldn’t happen.
