Shapo avoids the bagel with a break and Charlie is starting to cool down a touch. This set is done, but plenty of tennis left to be played.

That was a solid game by Shap. Hopefully he can turn it around.

Yeah, he has the highest ceiling on tour. Sinner is more consistent, but when Charlie is in the zone, he's practically untouchable.

I rarely see Denis throw in the towel and he seems to have a good attitude tonight, that was an important hold to start set 2.

Yeah, you can't give Charlie free points by double-faulting, he will make you pay.

Oh well, what are you going to do, Charlie loves IW and it's going to take a lot to stop him from winning this tourney yet again.

Boy it's like her body is conspiring against her playing tennis.

It seems like she's been around forever, but she still is only 24 years old (turns 25 this summer). If she could just stay healthy...

From day 1 it just always seemed like she was destined to struggle with health so it's great she was able to get a major and some other good wins early on. Playing such a demanding style and not exactly being the most fleet of foot is just a kiss of death in a sport like tennis.

That was some of the best tennis I have seen Holger Rune play in a long time as he sends Oikos packing in straight sets.

The Mouratostink is finally wearing off.
On the WTA side, former 16 year old Andreeva is going to win everything in tennis, not too far from now.

Yesh, she's even better than 18 year old Sam Bennett. Iga will likely be a gate keeper at Roland Garros, but Andreeva looks incredible, such a well developed game at such a young age.
