I made a mistake and watched the first half of the last game…. Back to the PVR for this one.

Big 2 points on the line tonight. Crazy to see the standings, we are a few losses away from a top 10 pick and few wins away from a playoff spot. Going to be an interesting trade deadline and finish to the season.

Did I miss something? Trauma ? What happened in Philly.

Why is Torts still allowed to coach.

Did anyone look at this road trip and not consider a 1-5 record as the most likely outcome? Winning the first game might have given them a realistic shot at 2-4 if they can beat Philly. Anything more than 4 points on this road trip would be icing on the cake and a big surprise

We played a great game vs Washington but they have now lost 3 in a row. Seems like we got them at the right time.

I take full responsibility for the last 2 games. I have been revelling too much in the recent Oiler misery.

Whenever I do that, bad juju follows.

I have not visited the ENG thread, not looked at their score last night.

Expect OT this afternoon.

A few wins away? Did you mean a divisional spot?

I can't believe VAN and LA continue losing to keep our season meaningful.

No one wants to take that WC spot.

Utah will probably end up being that team.

Edit: and even Utah is losing.

This is the dilemma...I kind of like weekend Matinee games because they're on at a nice time to watch.

I wish we didn't suck ass at them though.

I dont even know what to say to Caroline though. The Flames are in town and its going to be bad news, but at this point? I'm not sure for whom.

I assume Wolf starts because Vader just saw more rubber than a discount hooker on Fleet Week and got shelled harder than the Russians when they attacked that US base in Syria.

Not sure the context of the "deep forward group" argument, but you can have a deep forward group and still be a very bad team. Look at the Kraken's depth chart. It's pretty strong. But they have no stars. They could get a top 5 pick this year.

I would far rather watch a game this evening after the sun goes down and its 2 degrees out

To each their own. I pour a drink at 3:00 and watch and then go to bed early. I kind of like it.

As long as its not a repeat of last night...that...was grim.

I just hope we see some GAF from the skaters today. Throw some hits, pick a fight, piss off some Canes. Too many floating around lately, get into the game.

All that said I predict a 4-0 dud of a game. Prove me wrong.
