Finland raise their game when they play against Sweden, their biggest rival.

Mark Stone is so good. Really sucks he didn't want to play in Calgary.

Good call.

I did not expect this what so ever.

It has to be asked…on a holiday Monday, couldn’t they have played this in Montreal?

More terrible analysis by Simpson and Cuthbert.

Fawning over McDavid and to a lesser extent focus on Point, when the goal was 90% Saheim jumping up right away and getting a good shot on net.

McDavid didn't drive anyone back, Point was just there for a rebound off Sanheim's good shot.

The mismatch between Finnish defense and Canadian offense is just too big.

As expected.

I'm honestly a bit surprised Finland won a game in this tournament, this team was pretty much cooked when Heiskanen got injured

Funny they're using the Canucks PA announcer in Boston.

He's unbelievable. I would have him with Crosby but the fact that he can keep up on a speed line with Point and McDavid is impressive.

unable to watch the first part of the game, hearing from my Oilers friends that it is all McDavid so far, and would have been even better if Hyman was on his line

Imagine thinking that Zach Hyman would be a better linemate for McDavid than Point and Stone.

Well, he carried the puck into the zone and saw Sanheim on the other side of the ice up with him. Any winger on any NHL team would make that pass.

But Cuthbert and Simpson frothing at the mouth as if all 5 players were focusing on him and announcers words certain give viewers some bias as to what they think is going on in the ice, certainly Oilers fans who are always looking for validation.

Anyone else think the large black centre ice logo is a major distraction? Can't see the puck in that area.

Is there a consolation game for 3rd/4th place?

Some guys here are so triggered by McDavid it's sad.

He absolutely is causing havoc out there with his speed and ability to back off the Finnish D.

Now, the US D corps, with MaCavoy playing him physical is another story as we saw on Saturday.
