McDavid is just, kind of a career loser. Can't win anything at any level it seems like.
Aside from the goal, his 200 ft game is pretty pedestrian

Biggest difference to me in this game so far has been the defenses.
USA defense is all really mobile and strong defensively, not a lot of room on the ice.

Marner and Reinhart look like #### on McDavid’s wing. McDavid needs speedy possession guys who can retrieve the puck.
Time to put Hagel and Point on his wings IMO

Stone, Marchand, and Reinhart are our slowest forwards and hopefully they put Konecny in for one of them next game. I’m liking both Sandheim and Harley out there. I had low expectations for Parayko but he’s been good.

Maybe the best thing for Canada would be to get blown out this game, with Binnington giving up several more stinkers. That way they turn to Hill for the rest of this tourney, and give themselves a chance in the upcoming must-win games.
