Guys, so we really think the refs just have it out for us? Or is it possible the flames are just not a good team and they often get called for making stupid plays.

Not to say the refs don’t suck, but it’s not always on them.

Yup - Flames were authors of their own misfortune tonight. Scored the second goal and acted like they'd won the game. Took their eyes off the puck and made some absolutely atrocious decisions (lots, too, in the earlier portion of the game).

Wish they would just STOP trying to pass across the o-zone blue line. They get picked off there a half-dozen times again and get burned more often than not. Just dumb choices.

Oh well, it's a bit of a "freebie" year, enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

And the refs need to be fired. That was terrible.

Flames stopped playing after 40 minutes. They did Wolf dirty.

Watching VAN, LA, COL etc we are way behind talent-wise.

Conroy is delusional with his “rewarding” the guys with trades.

Without Wolf we are a bottom feeder.

It's not the refs fault. Weegar caused that whole series of events, it was a stupid play by him.

Sometimes the refs win games, but that was not tonight.

Call the game fairly. I have been saying that for years. Since betting came in, it seems to be more prevalent. And it affects almost every team. Done for a bit. Too, too obvious.

On the bright side, I thought solo looked comfortable and competent. Was not rushing plays, decent poise on the puck.

I would be fine going the Carolina route and try everything to avoid tanking than end up like the Sabres, Ducks, Hawks and not have any hope for the future.

Almost every time they get a 2 goal lead the completely let off they gas. No killer instinct
