Something else that might be nice is to put a throttle on the number of posts someone can make per hour. I know it goes against what a board should be but there are a handful of posters who absolutely dominate some of these threads. Making posts a little less frequent might make them more thoughtful?
Who am I kidding…the moment someone is told they have to wait to post they’ll lose interest in the board completely which would be unfortunate.

I could see an argument for commuting some of the sentence, but a full on pardon is nuts. The guys obvious committed the crimes, someone died as a result, and he made a tonne of money illegally.
Personally, I didn't mind the sentence, but I have seen reasonable arguments that it was higher than what was expected.

I wish more people do what i do, which is write out a post read it, realize it adds nothing, or I don't know what I am talking about, or that it is mean spirited and then just delete it instead of posting.

So much chaos happening, it's hard to keep up! Saw a few headlines/clips this morning:
- Already approved refugees into the US have had their status and trips cancelled by the government
- Apparently, the plans to round up illegals and deport them has been quite challenging (duh!). Factories and farms reported that thousands of the workers they exploit didn't show up for work due to fears of being deported.
I really enjoy reading the discourse between pugnacious partisans. It's just that some people have intentionally grating posting styles. I'd be happy for more arguments just not constant small form spam.

Don’t know how JD and her reconcile what Trump said when trying to throw shade at Harris for being bi-racial, with their own kids. I’d be personally embarrassed and file for divorce if my spouse shrugged that off like it was nothing. But lots of hangers-on though trying to catch whatever crumbs fall off the Donald.
