Dang, that's at least 3 of the reasonable ones down. At least they've done it early enough for a strong progressive candidate to emerge against the organized conservative jerk circle.

I think the runner-up to Chu last time was a good candidate. Probably would have won if the rape news came out before the mail-in ballots.

Greg Miller was another big loss for Ward 4.

Pootmans. This ward will probably go to a bozo with a blue sign since parties are more explicit

Hopefully Penner drops out too so we can narrow the gap to 3 reasonable - 1 useless. McLean can go too, but this parties-in-municipal politics sh-t means it's almost certain he's going to try for re-election.

I hope McLean runs under a party banner to help me make sure I don't vote anyone in my ward running under that same banner.
That's one advantage of having muni parties. It helps judge people by the company they keep.

McLean will clean up in our Ward as long as he continues to use blue election signs

That would be a huge loss. I would say she is currently the best of the bunch right now.

Didn't McLean, Wong, Sharp, etc all make their party?
Man I can't wait to vote against Wong.

The 'A Better Calgary' party begging for signatures to quaify as an official party. Offering 10 dollar gift cards to get signatures...and associated with Angel's Cafe which is not a good look

Oh, Angel's Cafe... I liked you when you were a nice spot for a drink and some music. Wish you would have stayed out of politics.
Book signing for Tamara Lich, bribing people to sign political papers... not a good look.

I had time so I went and looked at their website to see who they are.
Clicked on the link provided for the president. It goes to a linkedin profile with 6 connections. Scroll down to 'others with this name' and the first one is most likely the actual guy, shows him as an Alberta 1st party member, Wild Rose party stuff, Ted Morton, CPC stuff, and worked as a consultant for political campaigns (Jordan Katz, Joan Crockatt)

Judging by the survey I was just asked to be a part of, Farkas is probably in.
1. Who would you vote for mayor out of the following list
2. If Farkas didn't run, who would you vote for
3. Do you approve of Danielle Smith's approach to appease President Trump
Ugh.
Went Jyoti all the way.
