I do admit, I find it off-putting how close the jerseys are, and the Ducks jerseys just straight up suck. I do love the Flames' road jerseys.
But yeah, I think the Flames are playing a fairly solid road game thus far. The usual are the usual things, poor special teams, etc but they're in the lead...take it? So far?

Feel brutal for Zary's mom, she looked shook up, for good reason.
Hopefully the boys can put together a solid 3rd and win it for Connor. So far they are playing quite well.

My dad was a Greyhound driver so he almost never saw me play, my mom? She has seen me hit, injured and coated in blood after games.
I was a physical player.
But you know what? No matter how often it happens, no matter how many times she's cleaned my wounds or patched me up, it never gets easier.
That look on Zary's mom's face? I've seen that look too many times. On my own moher's face. So my heart goes out to her.

Ughhhh.... Joined late just before the second goal. Thought maybe my luck had changed, as whenever I tune in later the Flames get scored against.... Then I scrolled up and saw the Zary stuff. FML. Hopefully it's nothing. That was definitely a reckless hit. Leading into an open ice hit with your knee is always reckless.
