The fact that Vladar’s numbers aren’t as good as they could have been had the numbers on your list been more neutral is known by every smart GM, since they’ll adjust for that. Shiny stats don’t impress anyone unless you are talking to someone who doesn’t understand strength of competition, zone starts, etc.

Nothing to apologize for. It's just a discussion.

I'm just suggesting you'd have to analyze the impact of hurting Wolf's development vs hurting Vladar's trade value, and then assess the total picture.

Vladar is a perfectly cromulent backup goalie who shouldn't be starting half the games, or most of the road games, or drawing in against the toughest opponents. But all three of those things are happening and making him look worse than he is.

It's understandable, because they're still training Wolf to play against NHL shooters, and need to give him plenty of practice days and watch his quality of competition. It just sucks to be Vladar right now, that's all.
