The Palestinian Authority has suspended Al Jazeera from operating in their territory. They claim that the media outlet is interfering with their internal affairs and are trying to incite a rebellion.

According to the official Palestinian news agency, Wafa, Al Jazeera network has been deemed in violation of Palestinian laws and regulations and its operations suspended temporarily. The stoppage order applies to all work by its journalists and staff.

The network is accused of broadcasting "inciting materials" and "misleading reports" that "provoke strife and interfere in Palestinian internal affairs," Wafa said.

No, the PA is not Hamas friendly. Given Al Jazeera's funding sources, it's probably an indication that Iran et al. are trying to consolidate power, and move into the West Bank, where the PA has controlled.

Numerous other countries have banned Al Jazeera, rightly so. Al Jazeera is the state sponsored news agency of Qatar who is bank rolling much of Hamas. They have their so called journalists embedded in Hamas, used their platform to identify Israeli troops and movements in real time and are currently pushing stories that the PA is in bed with Israel (basically a death sentence in the West Bank).

They are currently one of several platforms that radicalized Palestinians.

No, as mentioned, the PA is against Hamas and both Israel and the PA agree that Al Jazeera is promoting dangerous pro-Hamas propaganda and trying to wag the dog. The PA might have a higher tolerance for it than Israel, but it does end at a point.

But joking aside, The Lancet is no good, depending on the situation being discussed. Just like how the ICJ was being cheered on by the west when they issued an arrest warrant for Putin after his invasion of Ukraine, but when the ICJ did the same for Netanyahu and other terrorists from the Israeli government, the west sanctioned members of the ICJ and completely disagreed with it.
