Game has barely started and it's 2-0 Habs, shot attempts are 20-1.

The Sabres are the poster child for the folly of a scorched earth rebuild. It’s isn’t a golden ticket for success but instead requires a lot of luck to draft the right players while not locking in a losing culture.
It is too bad Buffalo didn’t win the McDavid lottery as we could instead be talking about Edmonton being a laughing stock with a historic missed playoff streak.

5-1 Habs now. Laine with a power-play hat trick. Awesome for him.

Full scorched rebuilds work when you have a solid management team with a plan. Buffalo does not have that.

This is the type of beat down after a message of no changes that gets a coach fired. Just can’t see them doing it this close to Christmas.

Well, the answers were obviously in the room. Just not the answers they hoped for.

God God/Allah/Elvis/Buddah, do my guys suck! Puck drop...I go to the door to let the dogs in...bad defensive turnover...down 1-0 before I can even sit down!

Was going to say we could all cheer for Buffalo to set the record for longest losing streak in history but they already own that LOL.

Bread Eater makes Brodie and Soderblom both look silly as he takes the puck through 3 zones and makes it look easy. 2-0 Caps.

Mangiapane on pace for 29 points. Good thing Craig dumped him when he did.

I think it shows how good Rasmus Dahlin is though, that team and defense is lost without him.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this but at 5v5 this season:

 With Dahlin: TOI - 465; GF - 56.4% (22-17); xGF - 55.9%
 Without Dahlin: TOI - 1004; GF - 46.2% (42-49); xGF - 45.0%

With them on the ice they have elite metrics, with him off the ice they are the worst team in the league.
