NHL BOG Meetings: Sens owner accuses Rangers of "soft tampering" with Brady Tkachuk
https://www.tsn.ca/video/domino-s-th...pering~3043605
Over the article that Brooks put out claiming the Rangers are very interested in Brady Tkachuk.
Lebrun is not sure if Andlauer will file formal complaint, but Andlauer intends to bring it up with Bettman and Daly

Good. Screw Drury and screw the Rangers. They get away with way too much as it is.

Conroy should have complained about the Caps tampering with Kylington after the rumours came out about them being in his ear before free agency. It screwed over the player too in that situation.

I also remember Brooks was beating the drum that the Rangers were very interested in Adam Fox while the Flames still had his rights.

Doesnt surprise me one bit. The Rangers get away with murder constantly and no one in the League will so much as gently slap their wrists.
I find it annoying.

Can they send Broosky out to pasture already?
His fights with Torts were charming, but he's a nuisance now.

The Sens will lose another draft pick for this.

If this was Melnyk back in the day I'd chalk it up to a nonsense. But it truly wouldn't surprise me if the Rags are up to no good. New owner with a head on his shoulder isn't just going to throw it out there unless he's got something on them, I'd think.

Somehow, in some manner, Edmonton also needs to be blamed.

Thats what makes him attractive.
He's already cost-controlled and the Rags think he can be had.
Do you think its a coincidence that they just shoved Trouba at $8M out the door? Sure, they signed Shisterkin but theres time before that kicks in.
Thats a fair amount of smoke for there not to be any fire.

Given that Edmonton controls its media a lot, it happened I bet.

Rangers knowing they're a preferred destination to many markets and taking advantage of that with soft tampering wouldn't surprise me in the least. Good job by the Sens. Screw the Rangers, they already siphon talent from everywhere.

I wonder what the Sens could get from the Rangers in a trade for Tkachuk?
Cuylle, Emery and Perreault?
Rangers don't have a top center prospect to offer

The NHL only cares about tampering when they decide to. Certainly not on July 1.
