Thing is, the Devils don't need Markstrom to be Vezina-caliber (and he hasn't been). They just need him to be better than Vanecek/Allen/Daws/Schmid gave them last year. And so far, he has been.

People need to think that Calgary needs to win the Markstrom trade, just like they had to win the Sharangovich trade.
