Default Flames Lose to the BJ's 5-2

"Man, if the Flames can just survive through the next few games against tough teams like the Rangers and Wild, the schedule really lightens up after that!"

lol

Flames gonna Flames

Not a surprise though, can't keep winning without scoring goals.

Good ol' Flames. 5-0-1 start, losing streak. Sweep home stand, losing streak.

Kadri and Kuzmenko need to see the press box for a game. Call up some hungry players and give them a taste.

They won't, but the Flames should be pushing for an explanation from the league on that clear boarding major. This needs to be released to the fans who they expect to pay for this product.

I didn't get a chance to watch today's matinee, but there is absolutely no need to dress Joel Hanley ever again.

Flames Record with Joel Hanley: 1-4-1
Flames Record without Joel Hanley: 11-5-1

Whatever he's doing, even though it's not much whenever he dresses, is putting some sort of voodoo on the team.

I know I'm tired of waiting for the deadline. Sick of watching 3 pairing dmen that are never hear in the future. Play a couple of the young guys. Tired of seeing our lack of physicality and toughness. Bring up Klapka. Can Conroy get rid of any of these vets early? Hope so but willing to wait to see if the return is better at the deadline. Yeah that dang deadline is so so far away!

They sure better beat the crap out of the Jackets on Tuesday. Sure didn't do much today. And FFS, take a chance on scoring more than 2 goals a game. The Shark and Kraken have scored 12 so far.

Yeah that was pretty much the team we all expected them to be this year.

Kuzmenko needs to shoot the puck more instead of trying to make the perfect play.

Forget all the other stuff...JUST STOP THROWING THE PUCK AWAY BLINDLY!!!

Can't count the number of times today that they just handed the puck over mindlessly. Sigh. They actually ARE better than this, but they still seem to want to play down to bottom-feeders.

Kuzmenko needs to go back to Russia. If he is in the lineup next game there is something very wrong with Huska.

Huska got some fair kudos for the D play and buy-in but the offense is floundering for a while now and that is a problem.

Not that its all on him, the team is in transition but still.

It's largely been a fun season so far seeing the strong performance from the kids like Wolf etc. But I swear if all this great 1st quarter does for us is prop us up into 11th pick territory and we miss the playoffs... You couldn't have wrote a more painful season lol.

All you can really do is cheer for them to make the playoffs at this point but the glaring flaws of the squad become more noticeable every game.

Thank God they didn’t re-sign him

I’m done with the lack of effort and mediocrity.

Get rid of the dead weight, whether that’s trade or waivers it doesn’t matter (not my money I know) and start brining up more young guys.

Guys not named Zary, Wolf, Coronato are all fair game.

I want people who show up and give 110%
Not guys who collect that pay cheque and rinse repeat.

This team is where it’s at because of Wolf’s amazing play most nights and the youth stepping up. Combine that with a terrible pacific division and alas the Flames have pretended to look good or at least have fooled most of us.

This team wouldn’t cut it in the playoffs.

Open for business.

Team has some potential but still need key pieces

Playoff should not be the goal , just a bonus

And yeah, Huberdeau, Kadri and Kuzmenko should be gone when they are serious again

Did they show the Gaudreau ceremony on TV before? Hopefully they have it recorded and uploaded for those of us who missed it.

I don't think Columbus would have done one.

The Flames will do one Tuesday when they host Columbus.
