I’m not sorry I watched. There was the very slight chance that Tyson could have caught Paul off guard in the first or second round. It would have only taken one punch.

People act like heavy weight boxing is exciting. It almost never is. The lower weight bouts have always been more entertaining for the most part. Heavyweights have for most bouts stayed away from each other because one punch ends it. There was literally nothing surprising about this match.

Man....thats a couple hours i want back.

Jake Paul is NOT a boxer....he is a side show.

Tyson is even wors.............. but its my own fault for believing this would be different.

The disservice this did to a real sport is yet to be seen, but IMO it will be substantial.

This whole match honestly felt like a WWE tussle. I've seen sparring matches that were more entertaining.

At the end of the day, Paul doesn't care. He made out like a bandit. I've never paid any money for a Paul bro fight, and this is actually the first one I ever watched. I'm glad I'll go back to not watching any future ones unless he actually was serious about a fight with Canelo or something. But he's not gonna do that. He knows he's not good enough to go against a legit boxer, let alone of the best right now.

Couple hours you want back ? Two amazing fights leading up .

People forget how bad Tyson was when he got out of jail , and that was 25 years ago . He’s now 58 on looking for a payday

Thanfully placed a bet on Paul, but was hoping for Tyson.

Hope Tyson pro retires for good, but his interview made it seem like he wants to go out on a win.

Just pick a better battle next time.

I hate the guy.... and that's just what he wants. It is pretty genius- fully invested in being the heel. Just be ok with being the biggest d-bag the world has ever seen that everybody hates and would pay to see destroyed, but never put yourself in a situation where you would be destroyed. And having enough money that you can hire a team where you don't embarrass yourself. Why would he ever fight a legit boxer? He just made upwards of (reportedly) 20 million (rumoured, anyway) for 30 minutes of work. Brought more eyes to a gimmick fight than anything since Tyson was still fighting. Best thing the world can do is ignore him until he actually fights a ranked boxer, but that will never happen.
I'm sure his promo team is already picking out which retired MMA fighter to fight next. Mcgregor maybe? They could call it the steroid bowl...

The highlight of the night had to be the inadvertent butt shot of Tyson after his interview. Hilarious.

I think he might actually fight Canelo if Canelo would agree.

He probably knows after this Tyson fight and how it went down that people aren't going to put up with many more of these gimmick fights.

But if he fights Canelo that's potentially like a $100M fight.

I think it's also why he leaned into the whole "America is back" angle at the end, try for the whole America vs Mexico angle and try to see if he can market his way into a title fight and a huge payday.

If he loses then it's what people expected, if he somehow wins then he can say he's legitimate.

Texas refs will be racist again though...................

Just like you all you Biden lovers.

Majority vote. DEAL WITH IT.

Sorry your party tried again with Biden and then flipped to Harris.

Should you even be able to vote at that point?

TBH the disservice it did to boxing is more than offset than the extra eyes it put on Taylor-Serrano and Barrios-Ramos.

I think most people that watched understand that the 58 year old probably shouldn't have even been allowed to fight after about 6 minutes of that fight.

But there was lots of great discussion online about the two undercard fights that would have never generated that much attention otherwise

Just watched the fight. Whyever Tyson had a brace on his knee, he couldn't move at all. If you can't move, you can't fight. There's no way that Mike ever fights again, and if he does he needs to spend all of his time on leg day.

Okay, I have a question for those who were paying attention before the fight. Did Mike get paid per round? So, was going the distance his biggest payday?

I don’t think it was public but they both probably had guaranteed money regardless of the outcome.
