And it led directly to a goal, so yeah he does get a little more criticism than if that was Lomberg.

Get out of this period, get that 2nd wind and bring on the 3rd period magic.

Or tie it now, that would be cool too.

Yep, this is about as unfair as an NHL schedule gets in favour of the Canucks but the Flames are hanging in there

He backhands it and it’s over the glass. He got stick checked. After the whole line had skated around without getting the puck at all for a minute. It wasn’t a “selfish play”.

A goal being scored doesn’t change the actual nature of the play. Was Kadri giving it up for a breakaway Ok because there was a save?

Backlund just lost the puck in the same way. Crickets.

Can we just stop with the Huberdeau crap. He has made 1 mistake and otherwise has been very good.

We don’t need countless pages bashing him again.

LOL, no. It just wasn’t some horrific play. The goal was caused by them chasing the puck in their own zone for two shifts.

I like Kadri a lot.

9 games in and he has 2 goals, 0 assists.

The rush to extend Yegor Sharangovich a full year before he needed it was… his 17.3 shooting percentage?

Yeah I was giving him time coming back from injury. He’s invisible most of the time.

I also think going back and forth between C/W doesn’t allow him to settle in. He’s a winger and keeps him on the wing.

I’ll say this, they do have a loose handle on the puck. Getting knocked off it easily

Part of being tired I guess. You are right - they are getting the puck knocked away a few times on every shift.

Our forwards need to come back into our zone for the breakout. They’re doing that thing where they float around the red line waiting for some miracle pass.

Symptom of being tired I guess.

That’s a decent size dive by Pachal…

Props to Vladar. He has kept his team in it, and is by far the Flames best player tonight.

Can't have a third period comeback if you don't trail going into the third.

That’s about as blatant a boarding penalty as I’ve ever seen, so naturally there’s no call.
