Taking a while to get to 5000

I’ve watched bits and pieces of Amazon broadcasts but this will be the first one I see start to finish. Curious to watch a whole game in HDR, though my previous spot watches I couldn’t really notice.

I wish Klapka was in the lineup.
Lomberg - Rooney - Kirkland has not worked as a 4th line, and also isn't incorporating any youth, so it's pretty pointless on this roster.
14.7% xGF and they've been getting crushed the last couple games.

They did. Amazon paid Rogers Communications to acquire the rights to broadcast all national, regular-season Monday night NHL games for the next two seasons.

With the approval of the league.
Amazon has been/is getting aggressive in acquiring rights to show live events....its where alot of money is now in broadcasting

John Forslund, alongside analysts Jody Shelley, Thomas Hickey, and Shane Hnidy.
Really nice mix actually.

Oh well, skipping this one.
Last thing I need is another monthly bill and Amazon is the last company I prefer to do business with.

I think the Pospisil at centre experiment needs to come to an end (he has zero points in his last 10 games). And now Mantha is done, so here is what I would do with the lines:
Zary - Kadri - Pospisil (this line works)
Huberdeau - Sharangovich - Kuzmenko
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato
Lomberg - Kirkland - Klapka
Rooney
Klapka is now pretty much an everyday player, and Pelletier is now one injury or trade from being in the top 9 - this lineup could get seriously thin, really quickly.

I would try something like this:
Kuzmenko - Kadri - Pospisil
Huberdeau - Zary - Sharangovich/Coronato
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato/Sharangovich
Lomberg - Kirkland - Revolving AHL door
Rooney
I want to see all of Kerins, Pelletier, Duehr, Klapka, Stromgren, and Morton. I'm sure someone will stick closer to the end of the season.
Also we need to find a way to give a couple of games to Cooley, Solovyov, and Kuznetsov.

I have heard that the Amazon broadcasts are better than the Sportsnet broadcasts, although that's not hard to do. I have a severe aversion to paying for another way to watch hockey. I am a STH. I also pay for Sportsnet+ to stream games. I don't want to pay another provider to stream games that have been included in every prior season (in recent history).
MLB did this with some facebook, youtube, and Apple+ games. They said it was to reach a broader audience. They are simply money grabs. If they wanted a broader audience, they would allow people to watch it on TV and/or MLB.TV as well, which we already pay for. Instead they force you to pay for one of the other, or at least sign up for an account. Those are ones I just avoid.
If Amazon takes over all the Flames games, I'll happily pay them. I'd prefer not paying multiple people for the games.
