Got my hopes up when I saw it was 2-1 Wings. Looks like the league is up to their old tricks when the golden boys are struggling to win games on their own.

Annoying league
They are back to being the NHL officials little darlings again. Katz' cheque's must have cleared. Hey, I'm not sure but does anyone know if it's Draisaitls birthday today?

Oh well, disappointing end (especially on a soft call), but it took them an OT power play to beat a pretty middling Detroit team on a back to back that included travel. This is not a good team.

Kolosov having a terrible night. Flyers may really need a backup.

Oilers have a baby-soft schedule this week. They’ll eventually get demolished as soon as they have to play against a legit contender. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Flames beat them again.

I see the No-Goods needed a gift wrapped PP in OT, and multiple point games from tweedledum and tweedledee , to beat the lowly wings. Sounds about right.

I don’t love that black and gold from the previous Ducks uniforms being used as trim on the new kit. Still it’s fun they’re dressed like creamsicles.

But...but they have to play a back to back, traveling all the way from Detroit to Columbus. Probably should be investigated.

It was a case of too little, too late for the Flyers. They were down 4-1 to start the third period and scored twice in 29 seconds in the last two and a half minutes to make it 4-3. Habs win. Sanheim was in all of the Flyers goals.

It is still scoreless on Denver. MacKinnon had a disallowed goal, goaltender interference.

Points were registered by a grand total of 4 players this evening for Bumville:

Draisaitl, McDavid, Bouchard and Ekholm. Yup, that's it.

You might as well just have cardboard cutouts out there for the rest of the team.

Kovalenko scored with eight seconds left in the first period, 1-0 Avalanche. Same score late in the second period. It certainly looks like the Avalanche have found their groove.

The Avalanche now lead 2-0 after forty minutes. The Senators had to have both goalies switch a few times after Forsberg's skate blade cane loose on an icing. The problem persisted so Ullmark had to keep coming in. It was very reminiscent of the Avalanche having a similar problem a few seasons ago. Darcy Kuemper had to keep coming off with a loose screw on his skate.
