It was definitely down there as series go. But I remember the 80s, when it would sometimes happen that all four playoff teams in the Norris Division (a.k.a. ‘Snorris’) were below .500 – and that was a pure divisional bracket with no wild cards. From 1982 to 1990, no team from the Norris made the SCF, or deserved to. They were wiped out by whichever team came out of the Smythe.
Then, in 1991, the Minnesota North Stars came out of the Norris Division and made the SCF… with a record below .500. Terrible, terrible hockey.

The team had Hughes, Demko and Petterson as their 3 pillars.
Now they only have 1 of those effectively.
If Petterson doesn't really find his game again, they'll be in trouble.

In hindsight, he did the same thing the last time he signed a contract. He was dreadful until like... game 35

I've watched the past 2 games and he was ok. Besides it's Lindholm's lack of playoff performances that is more concerning.
Hampus Lindholm has been great though.. lol

the important thing is the Flames got Kuzmenko, Brzustewicz, Gridin and some other pieces for Lindholm and Zadorov. The Canucks now have - *checks notes* - nothing.
