This is third time in Flames history that they've started 4-0.

This is amazing. So many cool story lines. Even sweeter that the Oil are dog####.
But seriously where has this Huberdeau been? Like night and day. No passengers on this team. It is unbelievable. They legit outwork every team they play. I’ve actually never seen a group consistently do it like this for years.

Well, if Conny’s early returns are indicative of his GM career, we don’t need lottery picks to rebuild.

Can middle six players be considered "stars", because Pospisil is every bit a star role player as a guy like Sam Bennett is in the playoffs.

I think Hoobastank playing on the PK helps a lot more than we'd like to think. Like he said, it keeps him engaged in the game. So itay be a missing piece to unlocked his full potential we know is there.

So Wolf good. Huberdeau is back. Several Flames rookies are stepping up. So far all of those improbable things the Flames needed to be connected are happening. What a ride!

IMO, what makes a star is how much he owns his role on the team. I think back to Jere Lehtinen or Ryan Smyth.

Wolf is really giving off Kipper vibes in net.
Just swallows up puck with confidence. No need to make routine saves look like they are some amazing save. Makes the amazing saves when he has to. Quick feet. Cool and calm in net.
Such a difference from Markstrom and those big lug goalies.
