Very sleepy first period for the Flames, not surprised. Given most spots are spoken for and its the last game of the pre-season.
Vlad looked solid.
Mantha had 3 solid plays that I noticed also.

Pretty good period - I thought the Flames probably had the better chances. One bad play from Miromanov, and one post for Kadri, was the difference.

I would be surprised if Klapka isn't part of the Flames going forward. Good on the forecheck and on the boards. Long reach obviously. Nice to see players developing and making the big roster.

Klapka continues to play well. He and Lomberg seem to already have some chemistry and always bring energizing shifts. The 4th line has been dependable all preseason.
