So we got rid of Bo for Jake.
Something tells me this isn’t when we got rid of Burris because we don’t have a Bo to take over.

At the time nobody knew if his arm strength would ever return. Last season was pretty ugly but props to the Ti-Cats for sticking with him. He's got his arm strength and confidence back and it's good for the CFL. The league badly needs some up and coming QB talent though as most of the league is relying on mid-30's QB's.

Suddenly and maybe even quietly, after 7 wins in a row, Winnipeg looks like the best team in the league again. I don't get the sense that many realize they've won 7 straight.

The Bombers are getting what a lot of the teams in the league aren't. Good QB play.
This has just been a bad season of football. Most of the teams look really weak at key positions. If I looked at the stats, if the CFL page wasn't so bad, red zone efficiency is bad.
When you watch a Riders game and a ton of seats are open, the leagues got an attendance problem. Usually it bumps in most cities after labour day, but I doubt it has.

Football across the board has been bad. If the NFL can’t find good QBs I see no hope for the CFL.

The TV ratings have been decent though and that's probably saving the league right now. The issue is that a lot of teams are depending on mid-30 year old QB's and there's a lack of up and coming talent at the position. Stamps should hopefully be in position to draft Kurtis Rourke but he will probably exhaust his NFL opportunities prior to coming to the CFL.

I know he was ours but man the league misses Huff. He probably is the best talent evaluator in CFL history.
His fingerprints are all over anything good right now in this league.

Rourke looks like he could be a star. Brown has looked just okay (he's statistically inferior to even Maier). The rest look pretty forgettable. It's pretty bleak IMO.
