The convention bump is over. Harris still leads nationally, but it looks like it's now back to being essentially a tie in most of the swing states with Trump up by +1 or 2 in PA depending on the poll.
This election is all about turnout at this point. If the Dems can get people off their asses and into the voting booth, especially women and the 18-35 crowd, I think they'll take it. But two months is still a long way to go, and they have a lot of work to do. Sadly this thing is gonna be a nail biter of a finish. Jesus, what an embarrassing country.
I'll preface this by stating I'm not a fan of Harris or Trump. To think in a country of 300+ million this is the best they can do.... but it's been like this for a while now.
But anyways, to those raising an eyebrow at Harris' CNN interview and dodging questions and not giving straight answers, this is who she is. She's a former DA and she's only used to grilling people, when she's put on the stand and doesnt have a teleprompter she's flails. She will have Walz at her side whenever she can to help.
Also Pennsylvania relies on Oil and Gas. Harris when running previous to this election has always stated she would ban Fracking. Now she won't answer questions on where her stance is and why it may have changed. This would cripple oil and gas. Oil and gas states don't trust her.
Enjoy:

That's the only Jimmy dore video I've ever watched I don't even know the guy. The Harris clips speak for themselves though. Not a leader.
If the thread was leaning drastically pro Trump, I would have done the same for the other side. Trump can be an ass hat
lol Can be!?!!?!
Trump tried to over throw the ####ing government. Its not about political opinions anymore. This isn't a democrat/republican thing. You may notice nearly his entire administration no longer supports him and nor does ANY former US president or vice president...including his own!
Many sides though

Ok, the mob is out. Anything but pure Trump hatred not allowed.
Saying you don't support Trump is not enough, you need to want his head on a stake.
Carry on.
Yeah, pretty much. He's a vile human being.
Harris isn't that great at speaking off the cuff. She really doesn't inspire me but she's not stupid. Her opponent can't even pronounce words like Yosemite and infrastructure while on prompter. He is an idiot. And that's like reason 368 why he shouldn't be President again.

Honestly, what is your objective here? Is it to parse the nuances between the different policies of the two sides so the enlightened electorate can make an educated decision?
Or is it to troll the libtards?
This is not a normal election. There is day and night difference between the candidates. One is a convicted felon who led a revolt against democracy.
The other has opposed fracking in the past and has explicitly said she will not ban fracking now.
If you have a reason the other guy is better, state it. Otherwise, this is an easy choice regardless of how weak the Dem candidate may be, and I don't think she is all that weak.

anything outside of reality will be called out as such
"I don't support him but.............................."
there are no but's...he is Americas Hilter, this isn't a leftist opinion his current VP even said so before trying to use him for political gain. His past VP doesn't support him on account of Trump trying to have him killed. (you can't make this stuff up)
but her emails!

The fact that you hyper fixate on soundbites from years ago, instead of what she's been saying since becoming the nominee (especially her DNC speech), speaks volumes.
She's a leader.
Trump is not a leader... unless you want him to lead you off a cliff.

The insult to Harris doesn't even really make sense. I mean, her opponent can barely string together a sentence! He literally says something stupid every other time he opens his mouth. To call her dumb because of things she's said is... impossibly vapid.
This is a scenario where you have to compare the two options, so when you hold up the statement to both it's easily and immediately clear who says more stupid ####.
One candidate tried to overturn the democracy of the country.
It's that simple. I mean, he's also a convicted felon and found liable of sexual abuse. And also the whole confidential files thingy. And a million other things on top of that. And he's a lair, a conman, a grifter. A mentally unwell older man who wants to be king. The list goes on forever.
But the long and short of this election is do you believe in democracy if you are an American voter? Because if you do, it's an easy vote. Who cares if Harris isn't a perfect speaker at times, or has changed her mind over the years on an issue or two......that's just noise. It's just people looking for a stupid excuse to support Trump. If you like dictatorships, then just say it. Say you don't care about democracy, you're supporting Trump. Just be honest.
But if you care about the democracy of the country it's a no-brainer vote. End of story. Picking apart miniscule things about Harris and Walz is just you trying to say you're supporting Trump without having the spine to admit you support Trump and dictatorships. He tried to do it before, and he will do it again. There's no hidden agenda here. He's told and shown everyone what he will do. You're literally voting for either a democracy or a dictatorship.

Love how people post the most brain dead things and the immediately the term “the mob” gets thrown around as soon as more than like… one person (that’s being generous, sometimes all it takes is one) pushes back against the dumb thing they pointed.
They couldn’t be an idiot. It has to be everyone else. And worse yet, a whole mob of them.
