Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. I can see him as the glue though, like a Backlund.

It's not on them at all, but it was a question that deserved a response, and not surprising that the Flames responded the way they have.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd wait and see how he develops before I'd make that remark.

And we don't even know if he will make it as a center in the NHL or if he goes back to wing, which could spell the end of his time in Calgary, in very short order. Too many unknowns to reach 'superstar' status yet.

To be clear, discounting the recresting of the Dube jersey is 1000% the classy thing to do.
The chaotic evil part of me is going: sure there might only be 5 Dube jerseys out there, so who cares... BUT does this open the door to having to discount recreating of Fleury jerseys?

No. Fleury is a mentally ill old man, not an alleged rapist.
Fleury is also a huge part of flames history.

Try to keep up. ‘Superstar’ is the new word for ‘AHL tweener’.
Then you have superduperstar, megastar, hyperstar, hypermegastar, and gigastar.
A guy who's actually good is a generational player. Then you have GOAT, megaGOAT, hypermegaGOAT, and hyper-mega-generational-GOAT.
McDavid is officially rated ‘His Sublime Majesty, the Eternal Celestial Emperor of Hockey (Pucks Be Upon Him)’. I believe that's 27 levels above superstar.
Then you have Cale Makar, who can play him some hockey.

A happy ending.. I've got about 6 gameworn Dube I'd love to trade in or get a refund.. I put the odds at zero or less

I just phoned Flames Customer service and talked to the retail manager. The Flames are making no such offers. Not sure who posted this, but the Flames are not replacing or offering re-lettering of Dube Jersey's. So no Kudo's deserved by the Flames organization.

The poster said they offered a substantial discount on a new jersey, not that they were just replacing or relettering them. They even stated they had no expectations of it being done for free, so maybe it's how you ask and what you say.
