I'm not going to weigh in on the Israel-Palestine side of things, but I did want to highlight that I feel Pointman's argument to dismiss the claims of the video purely because the presenter is a comedian is quite weak. The show itself is presented as semi-deep dives into a major issue each week wrapped within a comedic shell. In a sense, it's adult edutainment/opinion piece.
I think, by the same stretch of the argument, the following video on vaccines and vaccine hesitancy (made prior to Covid-19) should be dismissed out of hand?
Again, I'm not taking a side on the actual video presented. However, my point is that the source of the argument and claims should in no way affect the validity of the argument.
