I love Jano. And someone needs to play the position next year. Maybe they can do the fabled trade at the deadline and then sign back in FA. Who knows. All the best to Jano. Now he is reunited with his old battery mate Spanky.

Pretty good return for a pending FA catcher who's been hitting like a$$ for nearly two months. Coffey was a 2nd rounder in '22 and has looked good at high A this year as a 22 year old.

My first Rangers game in 13 years.
Gray came out before throwing a pitch. I said to the Jays fan next to me "Hernandez is in... it'll be 3-0 after 1" sure enough!
Jays do need to do a better job with the Jr Jays run the bases. Holy crow this is ridiculous!

That seems to be a disaster everywhere. We did it Baltimore last year and San Diego this year, and both times it took forever. I think basically letting thousands of kids on the field is really slow.

Looks like Justin Turner is now gone
The Mariners are acquiring infielder Justin Turner from the Blue Jays, reports Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic on X. Turner was playing in this afternoon’s game but was removed. The Jays are getting one minor league prospect in return, per Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times on X. Divish adds in a subsequent tweet that the player is outfielder RJ Schreck.
