I don't know about that. Parakh has generational D man upside.

I don't understand those lines. is Mynio paired with nobody on the second defensive pair?

I don't know why but that entire group is giving me "weak crop" vibes.

I think it looks pretty deep, but maybe lacks the future superstar forwards we are used to seeing. I also have to wonder about the goaltending.

It will be interesting to see how Martone progresses this season. They have him on the 4th line in one of the groups, but by the time the WJCs start, I would not be surprised to see him playing a big role.

I know he's extremely young for this tournament but it feels like Mckenna should be at this camp.

He's at that Bedard level, and Bedard was PPG for Team Canada in his draft-1, and he would have been about 7 months younger than Mckenna was in his Draft-1.

McKenna will 100% be there. He’s just Hlinka camp right?

Lindstrom would help out the roster a lot imo, is it still injury related concerns holding him out?

He's not there because he's at the Hlinka camp

Don't sleep on guys like Gibson, MacKinnon, or Sotheran. MacKinnon may not put up anything in terms of offense, but he skates really well, has size, and is an excellent stay-at-home guy. Gibson is 6'4"and physical, with a nice two-way game, and Sotheran can ride shotgun with your top skill guys and cover the defensive duties while capably moving the puck. I would put Gibson as a shoe-in to make the team.

Plus guys like Bonk (returnee, will be in the mix to wear the C) and Molendyk. Parekh isn’t a slam dunk to make this team. And it’s not a knock on him if he doesn’t. This is largely a 19 year old tournament.

I don’t know why either, the forwards look fairly loaded. Heidt, Catton, Iginla, Lindstrom, Sennecke, Yager…

He also stated yesterday that he indeed plans on playing in the WJC as well.

Parehk was unlucky to not get a couple more there.
