Bowman is the guy that probably should be punished the most for his involvement with the Beach abuse.

He was the GM. He was the one that was in direct control of Brad Aldrich's employment. And he was the one that owed it to Beach to ensure Aldrich was held accountable.

Instead he did nothing and then actually gave a recommnedation for Aldrich to go get another job coaching college and high school athletes.

Bowman should never work in the NHL again...but instead the Oilers give him a job within a couple weeks of being reinstated.

Was Holland quietly "let go" knowing Bowman was going to be available? I know there were rumours of Holland leaving for another organization, but that hasn't happened yet. Did the Oilers make the choice of making the change, since they wanted Bowman over Holland?
