I was getting a little worried with their trades this summer. This is a breath of fresh air

Self-inflicted wound for sure.
Beach and Kennedy did the right thing by endorsing the reinstatements, effectively saying that they have paid the price and it is time to move on. That is a completely different thing than running out and actually hiring one of these guys as the new face of their organization.

Also, this is not a one-off for the Oiler organization. Having Nicholson as a senior exec, with Kane and Perry on the team, shows a pattern of practice that illustrates the team has absolutely no moral backbone. It stems directly from the owner, and is systemic throughout the organization.

What courses does one take to learn that covering up for a rapey degenerate is bad?

Is there a powerpoint slide of a fist and you have to choose betwtixt a boxing glove or a bum of a person who has worked their entire life to make the big leagues and will do anything to get there? Ahhh crap, got that one wrong again!!

Unreal hire. I know a few Oilers fans based on where I live disgusted. It's wild that a team would decide this is who they want as their face.

That was me. I’ll write them an email explaining my disgust and I’m out. No more NHL for me.

I was wondering the same thing.

He has put in the work, and taken courses. What type of courses are offered for this?

I still remember Kyrie Irving having to take courses on Jewish people, and he was healed in 2 weeks and kept tweeting about Israeli Jews being fake.

Does he write, I will report sexual abuse on a chalkboard a 100 times a day?

It's definitely a cumulative effect as most of the league wanted nothing to do with Kane but the Oilers did. Jake Virtanen received exactly one PTO from an NHL team. Guess who? Corey Perry fresh of a contract termination for something that broke the Hawks rules of a "professional and safe working environment" signed and re-signed. Naturally we are going to criticize and mock the Oilers because they are our hated rival, but from the view of a neutral observer this is getting a bit much as there's a clear pattern.

That organization is just proof there is no such thing as Karma.

Kane
Perry
Bowman

And that's just recent history. What a P.O.S. organization.

I'd almost guarantee at this point that if possible they will sign Carter Hart once he's reinstated.

Man this just makes me appreciate the fact even more that the Conroy is the Flames GM. Revered in Calgary, positive attitude, forward-thinking, well spoken, great reputation, and understands the new generation of players and how the game is played. His first two drafts for us have been extremely good as well.

Congratulations to the Edmonton Oilers for completing the summoning of D-bag Exodia.

It's literally mind blowing that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. a piece of #### becomes available, the oilers snap him up like nothing.
