Death Valley and The Swamp are the two best stadium nicknames I can think of. Nothing to do with the team name or corporate naming rights. Just developed on their own from a huge, enthusiastic fan base.

Can't see it, seeing it's a huge public safety risk as depicted in the rendering. At least not at ground level.
It's not an Olympic venue either, so I don't see the symbolism.
