Default Suicide teams sent to Europe, US and Canada

"These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah says on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?"

Blotter on ABCNews.com.

One bomber is as young as 12.

Remember, profiling is just wrong.

re: Suicide teams sent to Europe, US, and Canada

I know Canada's suicide team is the Oilers. Who is it for Europe and the US?

I am all for racial profiling! I mean, why 'randomly' select a 80 year old woman in a wheel chair, or a 25 year old mother of 2? They are not going to bomb a building.

You're so right.

We should profile the following because:

Americans: Oklahoma City, Unabomber, Jewish Defense League plots, Shoe bomber
Indians: Air India
Irish: IRA
Colombians: Communist revolutionaries
Spaniards: Basque separatists
Sri Lankens: Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
Greeks: Militant left wing groups
Finns: Myyrmanni bomber
Peruvians: US Embassy bombings
French Canadians: FLQ
Chechnyians: Various attacks against Russians
Albanians: Attacks on Serbs
English: Nail bomb attack against gays and minorities
Japanese: Sarin gas attacks on subway
Italy: Mafia car bomb attacks
Cubans
Kenyans
Somalies
Latvians
Egyptians
Afghans
Armenians
Iraqis
Saudis
.................................................

So that leaves????????????

So maybe the racial part of the 'Racial Profiling' is a little off, but you can narrow down to middle aged males.

....you are never going to filter 100% of the terrorists out...

That's my point. Why does profiling have to be racial?

You should definitely add Serbs to the list at least for setting fire to the US consulate in Toronto in 1999.

But you are right about profiling: if you dig deep enough you will find something on anyone.

PS: People, let's get back on topic. HOZ's agenda is getting lost in all this. We have to keep exposing those Muslims and liberal nutjobs who are trying to appease them.

^^ Middle-aged male? Have you looked at the demographics of the people blowing themselves up in Israel lately? Largely (if not totally) young people, along with quite a few women. Regardless...I think it's foolish to disregard common sense and history in the name of political correctness. It's also foolish to rely on these as a safety measure.

If you rely on profiling, ethnic or otherwise, the bad guys will realize this and quickly work around it. On the other hand, if you make a point of being politically correct...e.g., selecting every 10th person for supplemental inspection, even if that's a white-haired old granny in a wheelchair...then you're wasting limited security resources on low-risk people.

Frankly, if we expect to have both personal freedoms and state-provided security, we're demanding the impossible. It's a balancing act, and regrettably, you've got to have negatives to balance out the positives.

Bull I do.

Maybe if Canadian law allowed me to legally defend myself and my family people wouldn't have to rely as much on state provided security that we all cling to which is a joke anyway.

Have you look at life expectancy in that area? 15 is middle aged.

I'm assuming he means the right to place some tactical mortars in his backyard, and maybe a few MG nests at the front/back doors? I keep applying to the city for permits for this stuff, but I never get a response... guess I'll have to rely on the Block Parents... for now...

I'm curious as to what you propose to do to protect your family from a terrorist on a plane.

Do you want to bring some sort of weapon to be able to do this?

I can see it now:

Airport Security: "Excuse me sir what is that in your bag"
Worth: "It's a gun to protect my family in case of a terrorist attack"
AS: "Oh, sorry, my mistake, go ahead"
W:"Thanks"
AS: "And you sir, what is in your bag"
Shifty Afgani Boarding on a one way ticket: "Ahhh, it's for protection"
AS: "Very well, go ahead"
