Motson, Barry Davies, Peter Brackely. But yes John Helm.
The analysts the international feeds have added this past decade that we get, rarely add to the game and mostly take away from it, by someone else in there trying to sound smart or clever.
Anyways, bold prediction time. If Canada can get 2 goals they win.
I think Argentina had their scare vs Ecuador and on a bad day we can’t keep up at the back with their skill. But, one game you never know…we will need some luck and be significantly more ruthless in finishing any half chances that may drop our way.
Supposed to still be 31c come game time tomorrow night.

Argentina are -537 to advance to the final. That is an 18.6% return on your money. I don't think I've ever seen such a sure bet in all my life.
Canada played the best first half they are capable of in the first match against Argentina. We all know that the score could easily have gotten out of hand had Canada not gotten so lucky in the second half.

Win or lose, it’s still funny seeing how salty the Americans are that Canada is still in it.
Soccer is always a tale of two halves, just need to not get complacent but also not overbearing.

If there is no extra time they have to come out sprinting.

Agreed on both counts.
Prime Argentina show up? This is a blowout.
However...they have been playing very hesitant. I think Canada has a chance here. It depends on tactics. Do they stay solid and/or do we go for it?
You nab one...maybe get a Pen? It could go so many ways.

In DK sports book, Canada draw pays exactly the same as Canada advancing - so effectively 0 chance to win in penalties. None of which matters. Is going to be fun to watch.

Anything can happen in single game eliminations, especially with no extra time. I’d like to see them make this game competitive. Yes it will be very difficult to beat Argentina but if there was a time to beat them over the last 3-4 years it is now. They have not been blowing teams out and have seem a bit complacent for most of this tournament. While Messi is obviously still the best player on the field he has noticeably lost a step. Hopefully Canada can limit the amount of long balls over the top as they struggled with those in the first meeting. The backline will need to be better organized to limit those. Lets see how they do. Been a great tournament for Canada regardless and at this point they are playing with house money.

Just got home from the bank, took out a loan against my house for this match tonight. Put 50k down on Argentina to advance, which will return 9k. If Bombito is named in the starting lineup, I'm going to put down another 50k.

I found 40 dollars in an old jacket pocket.
I put it all on Canada to win outright.

No matter the result, I hope Canadians are proud of this group. What a great tournament and desperately needed after the 2 years prior.

Bombito starts. I've never felt more sure about a bet in my life. Absolute madness from Jesse Marsch. An easy eighteen grand for me though.

Are you serious that you put that much money down? I got in last night on the OLG site for 1.36. I put down $30. Downside is a regular time tie. Canada realistically holds little chance.

I really hope they don’t have to play on fields like this at the world cup
