Conroy signed Sharangovich because he’s a good player who wants to be here and works well with the guys they have under contract.

Kuzmenko ticks two of those three boxes - he just doesn’t have a large enough body of work with the Flames.

I agree, I found he wasn't very effective in this past playoffs and Florida's cup had little to do with him. Good pick up for that price, but Detroit is not a lock to even make the playoffs at this point.
