Definitely wouldn't more than a year or two. He screams Mason Raymond to me on a 4-5 year deal

Sprong had such a weird year. He started the year on a heater playing 13 mins a night including 2 on the PP, he was playing at a 54 point pace. He had a 57 point pace in Seattle.
Towards the end he was only getting 9, mins and 1 min of PP time. Because of it he finished with just 4 points in the last 15GP. Definitely seems like he lost his spot in the lineup, and the coaching staff's trust.
As far as him being a speedster, I thought he plays with pace, but doesn't really have a high top speed. He's pretty similar to Coleman that way.

I would be interested in Roslovic and that's about it.

Shiny new toy Mantha gets a spot?
Yikes. He’s not very good
Hope he proves me wrong

Mantha seems like the only guy that would accept what Conman was offering. My bet is we’re going to get what we pay for and he’ll be dropped down in the lineup after 20 games.
Hopefully I’m wrong

Yeah I have a sneaking suspicion that Mantha will be a healthy scratch by Christmas

.287 goals per game
Sharangovich: .292
Kadri: .301
Toffoli: .320
So every 100 games, Toffoli scores 3 more goals than Mantha
I believe those are the only 2 Flames that score goals at a higher rate than Mantha (Oh, and Coronato .37 but tiny sample size)

Wouldn't be new to him. Huge dude that has skill, shot and can skate but likes to shoot from perimeter rather than go to the dirty areas with his bulk as coaches ask. At least that's the rumour. He has to figure it out eventually or his career in NHL ends soon i imagine.

He had some of the better possession stats on the Knights in his time there....
But he does seem James Neal-esque.

If you're trying to win, his weaknesses are difficult to accept.
If you're simply trying to ice a team and kill 50 games until the deadline, he's perfectly fine.
He'll probably score at a 20-25 goal pace, which will keep him in the lineup

They add Hanifin and Hertl long term though

Sprong isn't a speedster. He has decent speed, but his bread and butter is his shot.
The past few seasons, he has been one of the most efficient when you look at production to ice-time ratios.

Is it Adam Boqvist that’s a UFA, or Jesper Boqvist? Or is it both?

Adam Boqvist is a UFA, and we haven’t signed him yet?!?!?
He’s definitely worth taking a flier on.
