It would be more worthwhile to just know how much rain we would need in order to stave off a drought, rather than asking each time it rains.

Eastern Canada is like this too, it's been mid-summer weather out there for a while. You got any of that for us out here, errrr...
(I see it's here this weekend at least. In terms of degrees anyway...we'll see if clouds/wind messes with that)

That's just the humidex for soft Canadians. The 41 humidex would be just 35-36 heat index for the US.

Interesting. I talked to a guy today and he told me the crops down near Vulcan and the surrounding area are excellent at this point. He said it’s almost as if they’ve been irrigated (they haven’t), and things look really good. It’s June…so we all know that could change significantly, but so far so good on that front down there.

May get down to -1 up here in Edson tonight. Not like it's the middle of June or anything. Not like it's the longest daylight of the year next few day's either.

Much of North American is under a persistent heat dome. And apparently as a consequence, the edges of those heat domes (like southern Alberta) are subject to anomalous weather systems.

I have to say, I'm in heaven with this weather. It's my perfect temperature. I love marching around in a hoodie not sweating my sack off. It's just so pleasant. I have AC, but I much prefer a cool house from a natural breeze. Love the wind in my room at night. Love just being comfortable everywhere outside.
This is my favourite June I can remember for weather.
It always goes back to room temperature for me. Nobody on planet earth sets their thermostat to 30 degrees. We like about 20 - 21. This is a touch cooler, but again, I don't need to wear a short-sleeved shirt outside. I think I look cooler in a hoodie.

I feel the thermostat analogy is a little disingenuous. Your house at 30 is way different than being outside in 30. Your house is going to be muggy and gross and probably smell bad.

And 12-15 degrees is a far cry from room temperature. The evenings have been downright chilly. Add in the wind and it's made for a terrible start to the golf season.

Golf outside is lame. I rather play inside blasting the ball at a screen then plopping back down on a stool and eating wings.

It is different in that if you're outside in the sun at 30 you'll literally get cancer, so I guess that much is true. 30 is the worst. I hate it.

My only solace to not feeling bitter about that is if we were under that same heat dome right now, it'd be an almost guaranteed smoke-filled July.

I’ve been golfing a ton the last few weeks and loved every minute, even in the rain.
Buck up, son.

I LOVE golfing in the rain or when it's a tad chilly, all the weak and old people clear out and you have the course to yourself.
It's like none of these people own a jacket. So weird to me
