Dont care about the oilers. I'm only cheering for the draft (Catton or Tij preferably) and that we actually get basic neccesities like water back.

McDavid or Bouchard are the biggest story of Oilers playoffs. I don't care about points, especially PP.

The Oilers are where they are because of their PK. That is the playoff story.

They are a one trick pony. Without the PK they would have been annihilated in round 1 to be honest. Truly just PK merchants.

I think McDavid has gone to another level and isn’t going to be denied.

Florida had its chance but they let off the gas and gave the Oilers hope.

i havent read all the recent posts but what is concerning to me is the play of Barkov, that non play on the first goal was absolutely pathetic, no effort at all. Hope Florida can wake up but i have my doubts, they are letting all the 3rd/4th liners score against them, even Nurse. brutal

Florida dominated the last half of the game so I’m not sure I would be too concerned about what happened in the first half. They’ve had 4.5 periods out of 12 where they’ve been outplayed.

the game was lost in the first half, so the fact they played their game for 30 minutes means very little.

How does any team lay such a huge egg in the first 30 minutes of a potential Cup clinching game at home?

Unbelievable!!!

this has been a weird playoff year, so many games where teams come out and get 5 or so shots a period and mail it in. I thought the Vancouver performance in games 6 & 7 were beyond pathetic until the last 2 games by the Panthers. one was a 0 minute effort and the other a 30 minute effort when the cup is there for the taking.

You're not fooling anyone Oilers fan #1.

Be sure you show up after game 6 when Florida will be celebrating on your home ice.

It means no less than any other part of any other game.

I am glad it wasn't a #### stomping again but this much more of a series than I would like. My Flames fan pessimism is setting in and I feel like this going to seven

Oilers are going to win the cup and McDavid is going to break Gretzky's record for points in a playoff. But we won't tank.

I thought their 1 trick was the PP?

Give your sister a hug. But nothing more, remember what social services said on their last trip to the house.

OEL looked James Neal bad on that last goal there, especially with what Tkachuk did to keep it out of the net.

McDavid I think has to be the frontrunner for the Conn Smythe now, win or lose. Florida still has 2 shots against Edmonton, but it certainly feels like all the pressure is on Florida now, and off of Edmonton.

I am, however, looking forward to the chorus of boos as Tkachuk does his lap with the cup on Oilers ice.

I just tell myself that winning 4 straight is very hard to do and the odds are still in Florida's favour. And when that loss comes it'll hurt even more now for Oiler fans because it'll be in game 6 or 7 when they were so close.

Leads me to believe Barkov was injured by the Drai cheapshot. Prior to that hit, McDiver was 1 A in 3 GP. Now he has 8 or 9 in the last 2. Coincidence? I think not.
