You don't want to take the chance, especially with the water restrictions in town!

I have definitely read several mocks that have Tij falling to the Flames or even being passed on by the Flames but I just don’t think that is going to be the case in real life. Feels like the Habs, Sens, or Kraken take him.

Even though they’ve only been in the league a few years it feels like a very Krakeny thing to take Tij if he’s available at 8.
They’re already annoying and it’s been a very short time.

Given their complete lack of d prospects, it would also be pretty ridiculous. I still see Dickinson as their guy if he’s there, or buium

I think the same...
My gut tells me Iginla will be gone by the 9th pick, but Lindstrom will fall due to injury concerns.

Lots of good discussion and breakdown of Iginla and the merits of taking him in the top ten even though its structured around the Senators.
Quote:
And based on the variance amongst the industry experts, it’s safe to assume some teams will have Iginla inside their top seven, while others won’t have him rated so highly.
For Button, Iginla easily slides into that top seven and is somebody Ottawa should strongly consider using with their pick in that spot.

Biased reporting is always entertaining.
I am not on the Iginla train (I let the scouting staff decide who they like), but to suggest that he has 30-goal potential is pretty laughable. Sharangovich has 30 goal potential. Iginla has 40-50 goal potential. I also haven't seen anything that says 'defensive liability'.
If it were me, I would choose Lindstrom between the two, but the above comparison is difficult to take too seriously.

I'm not endorsing, just saw it and posted it. Dude has less followers than I do on the bird app.
