I think you could choose to enter the Supplemental Draft. More players will be available through that process now that we don't have 5th round picks anymore.

In the end it isn’t a huge thing I get it, but it definitely doesn’t feel like an equitable solution. The way I think it should be (and I believe we had discussed this when the rule change had also been proposed) is if a team has an extra 5th, they should get the pick at the end of the 4th round.

Interested teams might actually end up with a better puck going into the supplemental draft, than they would have had with a full 5th round.

the package we used last year isn't available yet. Was supposed to be out June 1st, but sounds like they are targeting this weekend now.

I've received a copy of the ratings package so I'm putting myself under a trade freeze until I uploaded it into the sim. Will try to get it done today/tomorrow as I travel next week. Probably won't get re-rate grids done though until I'm back.
