Oh and here come the Rogers ads blatantly cheering for McDiver and the oilers ("2 down, 2 to go"). They don't have to hide they are only cheering for the oilers now, even though jets and canucks got little to no notice from SN and Rogers.

Not sure I would go that far. He struggled at times, and was hurt.
But had big goals in game 7 v DAL and game 1 v EDM.

He was amazing in game 1 and 7 vs Dallas and game 1 vs Edmonton.

He always came out flying and I'm pretty sure he got himself injured with some fights early in the series.
He always wanted to do too much. I think he learned to pace himself somewhat and not go all out shift 1 of game 1.

He has definitely grown under Maurice. He's much more a controlled menace now and gets to do what he does best on the ice, all the good stuff and the bad that sometimes comes along. It's like with Bennett who was immediately planted as the 2C in Florida when he came, both guys are played to their strengths.

I don't think the hit was that bad. It's just obvious Reinhart is injured, he's making that face everytime he gets hit.
