Outside of Game 5 in this series Canucks were straight up Trash the whole playoffs. Oilers will get steamrolled by Dallas.

The only redeeming feature about the Canucks was the technical possibility to eliminate Edmonton

Pettersson was completely invisible in the playoffs when pressure ramped up and something was on the line, preferring to pass up prime scoring opportunities to pass to someone else with a poorer shot instead. Hughes looked good for about a period or two until he started getting hit constantly and after that, was vanilla and ineffective. Tocchet for some reason changed up the entire style of play for the Canucks, getting outshot 9X (!!!) by their opponent over the first two rounds. Many noted that the Canucks shouldn't have even gotten past the Preds and were quite lucky to. Silovs played out of his mind and I don't think Demko in would have made much of a difference. That Pettersson contract is going to be rough, unless he was injured...
